Been driving 30 years last 8 years here this is by far the best family oriented company i have ever driving for, they really do care about there driver's always there to help if they can,you are really treated by a name not a number thats a fact. You run pretty much where you want if you don't like going to a certain part of the country tell them you you don't want to go there that simple. They have top notch company equipment not tripped down to minimum like some company trucks and top notch Great Dane trailers.so if you want to drive for the best family oriented company give them a call a company that truly cares about all their employees, office and driver's oh one last thing the best home time out there always home when asked to be home 🏡 always THIS TRULY IS MY LAST OTR JOB WILL RETIRE HERE, so what are you waiting for drivers give them a call be happy out here and be safe

This is a first class company. Every compartment is focused and efficient. Top of the line equipment. Great pay. I have also found the Staff to be very high toned, helpful and understanding. I like to say "I do my best and God does the rest ", but in this case God is using Smith 🚚 Trucking to make my life 🙏 shine. …

If you’re a seasoned truck driver this is a place you will retire at. I’ve worked here over 10 years and can’t think of anything that’s left a bad taste in my mouth. Truly a family run business everybody in the smith family has a role here and know what they are doing. Great loads they keep you moving so miles are not a problem. We service the same customers most of the time so going to familiar places is a big plus. The trucks and trailers are top notch and maintained great we have our own truck shop and a trailer shop and wash bay in town. This is a great place to work ! Any time I’ve needed to get home or had somthing planned they make it happen. When I started here years ago they told me they would always ask me at the end of a trip what do you wanna do. And they always do to this day they know me well enough and know what I want lol but sometimes I say turn and burn me. Great place I highly recommend smith trucking great pay all the miles you can take great equipment and maintenance and the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

This is an outstanding company that is an absolute pleasure to haul loads for. They know you by your name - not your truck number. The operation is "drop and hook." The equipment is excellent. For the O.T.R. Drivers, the tractor you are assigned stays with you for the foreseeable future; so it [basically] becomes yours. I take care of my rig as if I paid for it myself. The tractor choices are top of the line Kenworth or Freightliner rigs with fixed 5th wheels and air release king pin locks. Some trucks have manual transmissions. All of the equipment is kept in "top notch" condition. The maintenance crews are made up of specialized teams. There is a Trailer Shop, Tractor Shop and Wash Bay. It's easy to brag about our the people in our Maintenance Department. The company's Dispatch Team, Safety Department, Human Resources, Payroll Department and Management Teams are second to none. Smith is a 3rd generation, family owned and well oiled, freight transportation machine. The pay here is excellent. When seen on the road, our Drivers may flash headlights and wave at each other or we give shout-outs on the company provided C.B. Radio when we see, "one of us" on the nation's highways. I have many years of driving experience. This is not my first truck driving job, but when I stop driving, I plan to retire from this simply outstanding company!
